moisture absorption and quick drying: groove structure to enhance the capillary effect, better moisture conduction 

strength: some of the heterogeneous structure (eg, cruciform) can improve mechanical properties

to maintain the acid and alkali resistance of polypropylene, mildew resistance 

hydrophobicity (but the heteromorphic structure can be improved to absorb moisture)
